Like many other health facilities, MMC’s methods were severely tested during the Covid crisis. Happily, MMC’s four locations at the time fared better than most. The small size of each facility (only 16 beds each), the option of easily transferring and isolating infected residents between facilities, UV light procedures, careful monitoring of diet, fresh air and exercise, and in-person but isolated family visits all helped MMC weather the crisis relatively unscathed.
In addition to celebrating the past, Millennium Memory Care is also looking ahead to the future. A new location in Upper Saddle River will be opening within months and further enhancement of services are underway, with a focus on reaching more families in need of specialized memory care.
